Welcome to my travel blog for a Kashmir tour! Kashmir, also known as "Paradise on Earth," is a beautiful region located in the northernmost part of India. It is home to breathtaking landscapes, picturesque mountains, sparkling lakes, and stunning valleys. Kashmir is a perfect destination for those who want to experience nature's beauty, learn about different cultures, and indulge in adventure activities.

Day 1: Srinagar I arrived at Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, early in the morning. I started my day with a visit to the famous Mughal gardens - Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. These gardens are well-maintained and provide a peaceful environment with beautiful flowers, fountains, and water channels. After that, I visited the iconic Dal Lake, where I enjoyed a Shikara ride and took in the beauty of the surroundings.

Day 2: Gulmarg The next day, I headed to Gulmarg, a town known for its scenic beauty and adventure activities. I took the cable car ride to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks. Later, I went skiing in the snow-capped mountains, which was an exhilarating experience.

Day 3: Pahalgam On day three, I traveled to Pahalgam, which is located on the banks of the Lidder River. I visited the Betaab Valley, which is known for its picturesque landscapes and has been featured in many Bollywood movies. After that, I went for a horse ride to explore the valley's stunning beauty.

Day 4: Sonamarg On the fourth day, I visited Sonamarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold." The place is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, and the Indus River flows through it. I visited the Thajiwas Glacier, which is a popular tourist spot and enjoyed the snow activities like sledging and skiing.

Day 5: Srinagar On my last day, I visited some local markets in Srinagar and indulged in shopping for some Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs. I also visited the Hazratbal Shrine, a famous Muslim shrine that is located on the banks of the Dal Lake.

Kashmir is undoubtedly a paradise on earth, and the trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The hospitality and warmth of the locals, the picturesque landscapes, and the cultural diversity make Kashmir a must-visit destination.
